I haven’t made this fruit dip all winter, but last week, I decided to whip it up since the temps were in the 60s! My girls, who are 12 and 14, fought over who would eat the last of it. It’s a hit always and forever, no matter what age your kids are.
I get all the ingredients at Aldi, and I usually have powdered sugar. This huge batch costs me $3! Which is a deal in today’s economy. I used a fun sandal dish we got at the Dollar Tree last year, but any dish will do.
I shared a quick video on Tiktok for this dip too, but you can watch it below on how fast and easy it is to make this 3 ingredient fruit dip.
What You Need
Here’s what you’ll need to make this magic happen (all found at Aldi!):
- One 8 oz. container of Cool Whip, thawed ($0.99)
- One 8 oz. container of whipped cream cheese ($2.00)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (you probably already have this in your pantry!)
How to Make It
This will take you five minutes tops to make! Plus it’s a great one for your tweens and teens to make on their own too.
- Grab a medium-sized bowl or use your KitchenAid mixer. ( I couldn’t live without this thing)
- Add the Cool Whip and the whipped cream cheese into the bowl. ( Make sure the Cool whip isn’t frozen)
- Add in the 1/2 cup of powdered sugar.
- Use a spoon or a hand mixer and mix everything until it’s nice and smooth.
This dip goes with just about anything. My teens love it with blackberries, strawberries, pineapple and grapes. I’ve caught them eating it straight out of the bowl with a spoon (I can’t even blame them).
This dip is also good with graham crackers and pretzels! The options are endless.
Happy Snacking!
