How to Get the Best Online Black Friday Deals

Right now is the best time to get ready for the Best Black Friday deals.  By being prepared for this event which starts earlier each year, you’ll score black Friday deals before others.

Black Friday has changed in the past few years. Many of us had the beloved tradition of waking up in the middle of the night to shop for Christmas gifts.

I was waiting in line with everyone else who was half awake but hopeful to save money and score a deal.

The times have changed. Now stores stay open on Thanksgiving, and the deals start the morning of. The hype of waiting in line has dwindled since things got so out of hand in the past.

Black Friday shopping has turned to Online shopping for many.  With good reason, too, you don’t have to fight crowds, connect with others, or carry everything in your arms because the carts are all gone.

Today Black Friday shoppers sit in front of their iPhone, computer, or tablet, waiting for deals to be released on Amazon and quickly adding it to their cart.

Some Black Friday shoppers add all the deals days before, and when the sales start, they just “checkout.”

Online shopping is becoming so popular you mine as well. Try the tips below to save even more when you shop online for Black Friday deals this year.

Create a Budget

Come on; this HAS to be first on every list when it comes to saving and spending money. Know how much you are going to pay. If you need more tips for online shopping at any time of the year, see the article here.

Create a Separate Email Account and Sign Up

Now is the perfect time to sign up for your favorite retailers’ newsletter. For example, Kohl’s gives out exclusive discount codes for email subscribers. In addition, many retailers will give out extra coupons and codes for Black Friday shopping to encourage online sales. Use a new email account so your regular inbox doesn’t get flooded.

Sign up For Rakuten ( Formerly Ebates)

Rakuten is the one I’ve used for years, and I know there are others out there. So Rakuten or whichever one your friend is telling you to earn cash back while shopping online is a good idea.

Rakuten will play a big part in your ultimate Black Friday experience. You’ll earn cashback on your online AND in-store purchases. Plus, new members get a free $10 gift card after their first purchase of $25 or more through Rakuten.

It’s straightforward to use; Rakuten will send you exclusive coupon codes on your favorite stores. To get cashback, make sure you go to Rakuten FIRST and click the store you want to buy from. That way, Rakuten will track your purchases and cashback.

Target Shoppers Redcard Sign up

Sign up for a Target Redcard BEFORE Black Friday. You don’t have to sign up for a credit card. You can choose to connect your checking account to a Target Redcard if you do not want to open a credit card.

Like last year, Target will give  Redcard holders access to Black Friday deals before other shoppers online.

The Target Black Friday Ad is out! So see it and start shopping from it right here.

Plus. You’ll receive 5% off all of your purchases ALL year long!

Sign up for your debit or credit card here and you get free shipping online.

Sign up for Amazon Prime

You can always sign up for a free 30 day trial right before Black Friday hits. This way, you can take advantage of special Prime member-only deals or early access deals for Prime Members.

You get FREE two-day shipping and one-day shipping on select items now. In addition, you’ll get access to lightning deals 30 minutes before everyone else.

Ask For a Price Match

Have you noticed how many little pop-ups come up and say a representative is available for chat? Take advantage of one and see if they will match an online competitor.

Price Compare

Comparing prices online is much easier than when you are physically shopping in a store. For example, you can download Amazon’s bar in Chrome to compare anything you are searching for on the web. This way, you can see if Amazon has a better deal asap without having to leave your browser.

Even if you do not want to compare to Amazon, Google does a great job of price compared to all online retailers with just a google search.

Always do a search for a coupon code

Anything I buy online when I see a spot for a coupon discount, I immediately search online. The top places to offer discount codes are Retail Me Not, CouponCabin.

Join our Online Only Deals Group

We share all-out best online deals we find to our Online Only Deals Facebook page FIRST. Many of the values don’t even make it to the website. This is a fun group to join for the holiday season.

Will you be shopping in-store Black Friday or online?!
