So let me just say I was adding up the savings on a couple of Harvestland meat deals at BJ’s and thought WOW this is actually a really good price. I may have to stock up.

Than I started thinking about my Feed your Family for Less at Tops post and I knew it. I had to do this week at BJ’s because the savings is SWEET and this will feed a family of six and if you are a smaller family- Get excited you will have more than 7 dinner meals!

If you are wondering about this series check out my first post here.

Now to the fun part.

For $37.33 you can feed your family dinner at home for one week!

That’s just $5.16 a day! For six people $0.86 a PERSON! And you are eating all natural no antibiotic meat!

The Menu

Monday– Turkey Burgers with Pasta Salad

Tuesday– Baked Ziti with homemade garlic bread

Wednesday- BBQ Chicken Breasts with baked potatoes and side salad

Thursday- Pancho’s Casserole( This is a recipe from one of my cookbooks but you could make Panchos!  And I just started making my own tortillas WOW easy and way better tasting!

Friday– Turkey Burgers and Garden Mix Steamed Veggies

Saturday- Chicken Salad ( I would add in whatever veggies I have with this and cheese!) If you want a side make homemade rolls!

Sunday- Leftovers. I would think there would be leftovers but this depends on the size of your family I suppose!

I usually do a weekly grocery shopping trip and menu and this week this is it too! Which is why I had to share it with you!

Now we are a family of four so many of these items will last a few extra days!

I grabbed milk from Walmart ( I usually do Aldi’s but that’s all I need so Walmart is closer and my husband went for me! YAY!)

There is also a $0.25 on milk Ibotta offer.

And a watermelon last Saturday from Tops for $3.99 and that completes our weekly shopping trip!

As I continue with this series and am able to pull myself away from pretend face painting, captain hook on the swing set and feeding our chickens I will offer a printable shopping list and menu!

Those are good finds and I really like that the meals are pretty healthy. I would challenge you next time to include lunches and breakfasts for a total week menu:-) I have done a couple as low as $50 / $60 per week (not at BJs, none of those here).

    Blessings

By any chance would you be willing to share other meals instead of just dinners? Just checking! 🙂

I would love to do other meals! Right now I am just having enough time to get dinners done! But something I will strive for in the future!

Oooh, this looks yummy. You did a great job! I’ll have to try Panchos sometime; I’ve never had them. I’d also like to see your recipe for homemade tortillas.
