VIDEO: I’m Making Over Our Outdated Kitchen & Barn Building Progress!

Home » VIDEO: I’m Making Over Our Outdated Kitchen & Barn Building Progress!

April 1, 2018

Hey Friends! We’ve lived in our farmhouse for two years now and the kitchen cabinet color is starting to bring me down! I knew that there were other priorities in the house, but now it’s time. We aren’t going to do a full gut right now in the kitchen, mainly because my husband is building the barn so I’m solo over here.

Eventually, after you watch the video I want to cut out a hole in the kitchen wall that connects to the porch and put a counter to have a bar with stools.

We also want to knock out the ceiling so it’s higher and vaulted since a small attic is above the kitchen.

And the floor, oh the floor is a mess. Old linoleum that is peeling up and crooked, but again those aren’t quick fixes and I have no skill or desire to get the floor level, so that will all wait a few more years.

Right now it’s just about getting rid of the honey yellow color.

So check out our next VLOG below and see the ideas for the kitchen, plus if you subscribe to our channel you can see the before and after which are a blast. Plus we are making great progress on the barn and the kittens are doing well.

Check out our daily life on the farm below!

Happy Easter Friends 🙂
