Home » These 95¢ Cookies Are Putting Girl Scouts Out of Business

February 13, 2019 (Updated: March 26, 2019)

We’ve bought Girl Scout cookies a handful of times in our life. It seems the setup at Tractor supply usually get us. How can you resist?

When you are a frugal person it’s easy to choose a pack of 95¢ cookies over a $4 a box deal- when they taste the same.

I know I know, but it’s supporting the troop. I get it. BUT you need to take the plunge and try these copy cat Girl Scout cookies as I did.

In our couponing group on Facebook one member shared their amazing discovery of these copy cat Girl Scout cookies at Aldi. They were only 85. I skimmed by and thought awesome.

A couple days later another member posted thanking the original poster.

A few days later another member did this and well it continued. Until a snow storm forced me into Aldi.

I knew I had to get these cookies.

There they were at a whopping 95¢ a pack. I grabbed the Peanut Butter Chocolate and Fudge Mint.

Out in the negative chilly wind, I sat in my car waiting for it to warm up a touch and took my first life-changing bite.

The cookie was amazing. It took all my strength not to plow through the entire package.

By all means support your local Girl Scout cookies, BUT do yourself a cheap favor and grab these copycat girl scout cookies at Aldi too!

Aldi doesn’t have all the amazing flavors the Girl Scouts do.

Once you try them feel free to join our coupoining group and keep it going, since this whole post is really thanks to the original poster in the group!

OR leave a comment below letting us know how they are and the price at your local Aldi.

Sadly, gs cookies went up again this year. I definitely noticed a lot of people buying a lot less than previous years.

Thanks for letting us know Janelle. I didn’t bother grabbing them because I’m not a fan of coconut.

I’d donate $20 directly to the Girl Scouts instead of buying the cookies since they hardly get $1.00 per box, the rest goes to admin and the cookie maker. Love the cookies and i’m going to have to stop at ALDI on the way home!!!
