My $58 Weekly Grocery Trip W/Beer Deal!

I thought I couldn’t leave you hanging from last week’s $60 grocery trip. To follow it up you will see what it looks like for a filler week as I call it.

We are using up a lot of cucumbers, tomatoes, and strawberries from the garden! I can’t believe we are still getting strawberries. I always start my seeds indoors for the garden to save money. The trick is for saving on produce even if you can’t grow your own to buy what is in season.

If you are new around here check out all the resources I have on the blog for tips to save on your groceries.

Remember I’m able to have minimal items because I shop from my pantry FIRST. You can read more about how to do that here.

And do NOT think you need to come up with a $60 Grocery budget. This isn’t a competition. It’s only for inspiration and to show you how crazy I am! I wrote a whole post about how to figure out your own personal grocery budget here. It even includes an actual food savings calculator so you can make it based on your family size.

Next week will be a little more interesting. I’m using up the last of my frozen meats except for the chickens we recently butchered.

Check out the video below or scroll down for the details and meal menu.
